God,                 is not trying to rule the roost,
                doesn’t want to be king of the mountain.
               hasn’t meddled where he/she has no business
or fantasized grandiose plans.

               has kept his/her feet on the ground,
               has cultivated a quiet heart.
Like a baby content in its mother’s arms,
               ’s soul is a baby content.

Wait, Israel, for God. Wait with hope.
Hope now; hope always!
